Family Truckster is a Czech-style Amber Lager (also known as Polotmavy which means “half-dark”) that embraces the beauty and simplicity of malt. Crisp’s Hana Heritage Malt is a semi-recently released malt that utilizes a heritage variety of malt that was grown in the Czech Republic when pale Pilsner beers first started being produced. It produces beautiful notes of rustic bread and hay. Paired with Weyermann’s Floor Malted Bohemian Dark Malt as well as Weyermann’s Carafa Special III, these malts bring slightly nutty notes of pecan and brazil nut as well as cocoa and molasses. All these tasty malt properties are balanced with a moderate bitterness and herbal character lent by Czech Saaz hops. Na zdravi! (to your health in Czech)
